Born in South London to an English father and South African mother but grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Specialist subjects include denial and absurdist humour. The first was experienced whilst being governed by the ruling class of messianic Afrikaners and c-grade Imperialists running the place. The second was studied via British comedy programmes smuggled into the Country by culturally starved ex-pat Brits, i.e. The Goons on audio tapes and
Monty Python videos.
Then I moved to London 8 years ago and have resisted gainful employment by driving a van around London whilst studying Philosophy, and all the madness that comes from London playing out it’s tune on the streets everyday while we all dance around like monkeys. My question is who is Organ grinder? I work in an office now like most of the ‘knowledge workers’ (sociologist term not mine), in other words I repackage data that nobody really cares about.
Apart from a desire to broadcast I dream about being a gem hunter, Adventurer and anthropologist in the Himalayas in the last days of the British Raj. If only time travel were possible… you just never know who is going to pitch up on even given day.
